STRONGER study is looking for people 18 years and over, who have tested positive for COVID-19 and continue to experience one or more of the following symptoms.

If this sounds like you, you may be eligible to take part in the STRONGER study.

Your eligibility will be confirmed following a screening assessment. You will be given a study information statement and your consent will be confirmed before you can take part in any study procedures, including screening.

If eligible, you will be randomly assigned to receive either the study treatment OR standard care.

Participation in the treatment group will involve taking a commonly used medication once a day for 12 months and attending a total of 5 clinic and over-the-phone/videoconference consultations in this time.

If you are in the standard care group (control arm), you will not take any study medication, but you will complete all the same assessments and study visits as those receiving treatment and will be followed up by our study team in the same way.
